The Ignace area is known for some of the best fishing in Northwestern Ontario and one look at a map of the area will tell you why. You can fish for walleye, northern pike, lake trout, smallmouth bass, whitefish, speckled (brook) trout, or perch in the Ignace area. There are many easily accessible lakes to fish or you can adventure out to the more remote lakes where rented boats and motors are available.
